Gary Miller graduated from Long Beach State University and did graduate work in Vocational Counseling at UCSB before moving into construction, restoration and waterproofing. ARC, originally called Architectural Coatings, was founded in 1981 and focused primarily on waterproofing. As the years went by, and after hundreds of repair and restoration projects, Gary realized that intelligent repair and restoration with the “eye of a waterproofer” created a way to offer property owners and managers a complete and lasting solution for all of their repair, restoration and waterproofing problems.
Along with a strong background in all areas of construction, restoration and waterproofing, Gary provides both the vision and guidance needed to expand and grow ARC.

Tim brings 35+ years of management experience in the construction industry to the expanding ARC team. His background features strong experience in all phases of building and repair, both residential and commercial. He headed his own solar and construction company for many years. Tim’s extensive estimating, problem solving, and construction management skills provide ARC with a solid platform for successful growth.

With 20+ years of repair, construction, and maintenance experience, including running his own Jeep “soft-top” business and mastering manufacturing problems along the way, Mike brings substantial experience to the table. Combining “hands on” experience and estimating experience with superior creative problem solving skills is a special set of capabilities and its why ARC relies on Mike for overall supervision of all ARC projects.
Dick Gabrio

With over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing program design and business development, Dick fields substantial relationship-building skills to the ongoing job of bringing in construction projects. Originally trained to become a professor — receiving the MA and completing all coursework for the Ph.D. in International Politics and Economics at UCSB — Dick went into business instead. His marketing management experience includes executive positions in construction and construction related companies and serves ARC well.
Gumaro Garcia
Project Supervisor
20 years of experience in the trades has served Gumaro and ARC well. His skills include all phases of carpentry, tile, plumbing, waterproofing, concrete repair and roofing along with progressive experience managing others. Gumaro has the key skills and the know-how to lead and supervise ongoing ARC projects.
Luke Miller
Accounting Manager
With over 10 years of experience at Arc Restoration, Luke understands all of the intricacies and complexities of day-to-day business operations. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a Business Management Degree, Luke has been able to relay what he has learned in Business School to help Arc become more successful. Luke performs weekly job costing in excel, invoicing in QuickBooks, and helps create and estimate proposals for new prospective work.
Steve Shipman

Along with his knowledge of key construction trades, including carpentry, flooring, roofing, painting, caulking and concrete repair, Steve brings to ARC extensive experience in the application of all major waterproofing coatings and sealants.
